Sabine Lovelight Sound Healing at Queux Plant Centre Thursday 16th July at 7pm

Date: 16th July 2020

Time: 7pm to 9pm

Location: Queux Plant Centre

Relax into the sacred space of the gongs, singing bowls and other sound sources. Gong Baths are one of the most soothing, body detoxing and rejuvenating vibrational ancient tools. A gong bath or gong sound meditation is a sound massage for the body and mind (great for those of you who like the idea of a massage, but don’t like to be touched). In a gong bath you lay down on mats with a pillow and blanket over you, close your eyes and just listen to the sound of the gongs wash over you.

Gongs and Himalayan singing bowls are highly resonant and have a wide range of harmonics and overtones. They have been used for thousands of years to aid meditation and healing. The benefits of gong sounds include

1. Drop into an effortless state of relaxation

2. It’s deeply rejuvenating for our bodies and cells

3. It can be very transformative in helping you with unblocking emotions

Pregnant women in their first trimester, people with epilepsy or on medication for severe mental health issues and those who had an operation recently are advised not to participate in gong baths. This is meant as a precaution. Metal pins of metal implants can cause discomfort in some cases.

Chairs are provided but if you like to lie down please bring a mat, cushion and blanket for comfort.
